Card Rulings:Wind-Up Knight
OCG Rulings
- The effect of "Wind-Up Knight" is a Trigger Effect. (It does not target.)[1]
- The effect can optionally be activated when a face-up "Wind-Up" monster in your Monster Zone is targeted for an attack. (It can be activated when "Wind-Up Knight" itself is targeted for an attack.)[1]
- The effect can be activated not only when a "Wind-Up" monster is targeted for an attack during the attack declaration of an opponent's monster, but also when a "Wind-Up" monster is targeted for an attack caused by a replay.[1]
- When resolving the effect, even if "Wind-Up Knight" itself or the "Wind-Up" monster that was targeted for an attack is no longer on the field, the effect resolution is applied as usual. (The attack is negated.)[1]
