Card Rulings:Worm Linx
OCG Rulings
- The monster effect of "Worm Linx" is a Trigger Effect.[1]
- The monster effect of "Worm Linx" does not make a Chain Link when it is flipped face-up.[1]
- If a flipped "Worm Linx" is face-up in the Monster Zone, its effect activates and makes a Chain Link once during each of the player's End Phases and the opponent's End Phases. (It does not target.)[1]
- Even if there are no cards in the player's Deck, if a flipped "Worm Linx" is face-up in the Monster Zone, its effect always activates during the End Phase. (In that case, the player is unable to draw a card and loses the Duel.)[1]
- "If this card is flipped face-up" effects of Flip monsters are not activated when they are flipped face-up by this card's effect. Since the effect of "Worm Linx" does not start a Chain Link when it is flipped face-up, after it is flipped face-up by "Ceasefire", its effect can be activated during each End Phase.[2]
