"Black Tyranno"[edit]

So if a monster is equipped with "Ring of Magnetism", "Black Tyranno" must attack it? Makes sense, but "Black Tyranno" couldn't attack directly in that instance. Why is this ruling necessary? 207.233.120.2 (talk) 15:07, April 25, 2011 (UTC)

UDE seem to have overlooked parts of the cards' effects. The ruling used to be:
If your opponent's only monster is in face-up Defense Position, but it is equipped with your "Ring of Magnetism", "Black Tyranno" must attack that monster if "Black Tyranno" attacks.
But then they must have realised that you can't equip "Ring of Magnetism" to an opponent's monster, so it was later changed to:
If your opponent's only monster is in face-up Defense Position, but it is equipped with "Ring of Magnetism", "Black Tyranno" must attack that monster if "Black Tyranno" attacks.
This time they overlooked that "Black Tyranno" can't use its effect to attack directly when there's a card in the opponent's Spell & Trap Card Zone.
Rulings are a word-for-word transcription, so we shouldn't leave it out, but we can add a note explaining the oversight. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:16, April 25, 2011 (UTC)
Okay. Added the explanation to Card Rulings:Black Tyranno, since its one of that card's rulings. -- Deltaneos (talk) 17:29, April 25, 2011 (UTC)
