- This card can be searched by "Archfiend Heiress", "Rogue of Endymion", "Watch Cat", "Watch Dog", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.
- It is important to note that this card's effect can also be deliberately used for incorrect guesses, in order to send the Deck's top card to the Graveyard for various uses.
- This card can work very well in "Dark Magician" Decks, since the effects of "Dark Magical Circle", "Soul Servant", and "Illusion of Chaos" can all manipulate the top card(s) of the player's Deck.
- Furthermore, in a pinch, the effect of "Magicians' Souls" can be used to send this Continuous Spell to the Graveyard to draw a card.
- This card can work in some "Gishki" Decks, since the effects of "Gishki Avance", "Gishki Chain", and "Gishki Diviner", "Gishki Mollusk", "Gishki Natalia", and "Gishki Nekromirror" can all manipulate the top card(s) of the player's Deck.
- This card can work well in "Sylvan" Decks by declaring the wrong card name, since all "Sylvan" Main Deck monsters have effects that trigger when excavated from the Deck and sent to the Graveyard by a card effect.
- Since there are a few "Sylvan" card effects that can manipulate the top card(s) of the player's Deck, this can also work for correct guesses.
- This card works incredibly well with "Convulsion of Nature", since the top card of the player's Deck will always be known.
- With the effects of cards like "Card Advance", "Destiny HERO - Dominance", and "Zolga the Prophet", this card's effect has the potential to be used accurately for the next few turns.
- More generic cards can be used instead (or in addition), such as "A Feather of the Phoenix", "Edge Imp Sabres", "Plaguespreader Zombie", "Sword of Deep-Seated", and "Top Share". With the exception of "Sword", this will only guarantee a correct guess for 1 turn, however.
- As an "Archfiend" card, this card can be used to keep "Falling Down" on the field.
