- This card can be searched by "Batteryman Micro-Cell", "Batteryman Charger", "Batteryman 9-Volt", "Thunder Dragon Fusion", "Thunder Dragonduo", "Shadow's Light", "Shining Angel", "Rai-Mei", "Photon Veil", "Chaos Zone", "One for One", "Where Arf Thou?", "Jack-In-The-Hand", "Wolf in Sheep's Clothing", "Packet Link", "Small Scuffle", "Mimiclay", "Serpentine Princess", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Rescue Ferret", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", and other generic searchers.
- If there are two or more "Batteryman Ds" on the field you can attack either one, because it says "except Batteryman D" which includes both.
- By having this face-up card and a Defense Position "Hamon, Lord of Striking Thunder" on your side of the field, your opponent cannot attack your monsters as "Batteryman D" prevents attacks on all your Thunder Type monsters except himself while "Hamon" is the only monster your opponent can attack while in Defense Position.
- Equip this card with "Mist Body" to create a semi-lock or "Heart of Clear Water" for a better lock.
- Special summon this card with "Batteryman Micro-Cell" to ensure that you have a monster on your next turn. This is especially useful for "Batteryman Charger".
- If you control this card in Attack Position and another face up Thunder Type monster in Attack Position you can activate "Pixie Ring" to create a lock. This works especially well with "Batteryman Micro-Cell" because you can flip summon him to special summon "Batteryman D" in Attack Position.
