Card Tips:Battleguard King
- This card can be searched by "Double Dai", "Promotion", "Puppet Pawn", "Soldier Gaia The Fierce Knight", "Infernoble Knight Captain Roland", "Wake Up Your Elemental HERO", "Iron Knight", "Aussa the Earth Charmer, Immovable", "BOXer", "Frontline Observer", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be Tribute Summoned with one Tribute using "The Trojan Horse" and "The First Monarch".
- Activate "Scapegoat" and "DNA Surgery" (choose Warrior-Type) during your opponent's End Phase and summon this card during your turn (with "Call of the Haunted" or other similar method), then you can Tribute any necessary number of Tokens to do an OTK, especially if this card has been powered up by "Battleguard Rage".
- On a similar idea, use DNA Surgery while you have "Jam Breeding Machine" out. This way you are still given at least one additional attack each turn.
- Summon "Marauding Captain" and use its effect to summon a second Warrior to have two warriors to tribute for "Battleguard King's" effect.
