- This card's first effect can be activated in response to an opponent's card effect that would move a monster from their GY, such as "Monster Reborn", "Invocation", and "Eldlich the Golden Lord". This will prevent that effect from properly resolving.
- If the opponent attempts to use "Called by the Grave" to negate an Insect monster activating in the player's GY, such as "Resonance Insect" and "Gokipole", this card's effect can be activated in response to it, which will prevent "Called by the Grave" from banishing and negating that Insect monster's effect.
Traditional Format[edit]
- Since "Maxx "C"" sends itself from the hand to the GY and can be activated at any moment, this card can Special Summon itself by its own effect even if the opponent goes first.
