Card Tips:Compulsory Escape Device
- This card can be searched by "Trap Trick", "Trap Tracks", "Lady Labrynth of the Silver Castle", "Lilith, Lady of Lament", "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Angel of Blue Tears", "Farewelcome Labrynth", "Labrynth Set-Up", and other generic searchers.
- If you temporarily take control of an opponent's monster with a card like "Mind Control" or "Electric Virus", use this card to shuffle that monster into their Deck (before your opponent regains control if it) along with another monster your opponent controls.
- Use this card to shuffle a monster you control into the Deck that is rendered "unusable" by the effect of a card like "Nightmare Wheel", "Shadow Spell" or "Fiendish Chain".
- Combo with "Serpentine Princess".
- This card can be used in a "Madolche" deck, since their effects return them into the deck anyway.
- This card would make a great combo with "Madolche Ticket", allowing you to recycle a Madolche and add another Madolche to your hand
- This card can work in conjunction with "Gear Gigant X", once "Gear Gigant X" has run out of Xyz Materials, activate this card to recycle it into the Extra Deck, then you can summon a Level 3 or lower "Geargia" monster.
- Use this card the same way you would use an attack stopper like "Negate Attack".
- Chain to a Destruction effect/other effect that would create an undesirable situation for your monster such as "Number 61: Volcasaurus" or "Number 11: Big Eye" to prevent that effect and take your opponent with you.
- The card(s) selected does not need to remain on the field for this card to resolve and send any remaining targets to the deck and shuffle. Wind-Up Rabbit and Evilswarm Thunderbird are excellent to combo with this card as a result, as you can remove an opponent's monster and they bring themselves back to the field later.
- Use this card in collaboration with effects that make your monsters "unaffected by Trap cards."
- Monsters such as "Bixi, Water of the Yang Zing" (when used as material for a Synchro Summon), "Elemental HERO Wildheart", and "Divine Dragon Knight Felgrand" are good examples to use with.
- Spell & Trap cards such as "Forbidden Lance", "Spellbook of Wisdom", "Infestation Pandemic", and "Tyrant's Temper" are good examples to use with.
