- This card can be searched by "Wynn the Wind Channeler", "Dragunity Knight - Gae Dearg", "Tri-Brigade Shuraig the Ominous Omen", "Swallow's Cowrie", "Kittytail, Mystical Beast of the Forest", "Kujakujaku", "Wynn the Wind Charmer, Verdant", "Animadorned Archosaur", "Floowandereeze & Robina", "Crystal Clear Wing Synchro Dragon", "Primathmech Alembertian", "Resonator Engine", "Vampire Dragon", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be used for tribute fodder. Once your useful WIND monster has been destroyed, Special Summon this card, then tribute for a level 5 or 6 monster, preferably WIND Attribute, so if it is destroyed, you already have the combo set up again.
- This card is useful in a Harpie deck. You can Special Summon this card and activate "Swallow's Nest" to search any "Harpie Lady" or a "Mist Valley Soldier" if you already have a "Harpie Lady" on the field so you can Synchro Summon a "Stardust Dragon".
- Combo this card with "Icarus Attack" to destroy cards on your opponents field while sending this WIND monster to the Graveyard. Then, banish the tributed "Garuda the Wind Spirit" for another one or "Silpheed".
