Card Tips:Guardian Dreadscythe
- This card can be searched by "Arsenal Summoner", "Dark Spirit's Mastery", "Doomdog Octhros", "Ahrima, the Wicked Warden", "Magical Contract Door", "Sky Scourge Cidhels", "Chaos Zone", and other generic searchers.
- Use "Safe Zone" to protect this card from being targeted by effects that would remove it from the field without sending it to the Graveyard. Also, if your "Safe Zone" leaves the field and destroys "Guardian Dreadscythe", "Guardian Dreadscythe" will bring itself back with its own effect.
- Use "Nefarious Archfiend Eater of Nefariousness" to destroy "Guardian Eatos" during your opponent End Phase, and Special Summon this card.
- Since you cannot Summon monsters while this card is face-up on the field, Use "Nefarious Archfiend Eater of Nefariousness" to destroy this card during your opponent End Phase, and Chain cards like Call of the Haunted or Xyz Reborn to Special Summon a powerful monster before this card reach the field again by its own effect.
- Use "Ectoplasmer" to Tribute to inflict 1250 damage, then get it right back by discarding a card.
- Use the effect of "Inzektor Exa-Beetle" to equip this card to it, then use its other effect to send this card and one of your opponent's cards to the Graveyard, letting you Summon this card with its own effect.
- With "Reaper Scythe - Dreadscythe", this card can easily gain extremely high attack power. Use with cards such as "Strike Slash" and "Twin Swords of Flashing Light - Tryce" for a potential OTK.
- Having multiple copies of "Reaper Scythe - Dreadscythe" in your deck can allow this card to regain its attack power if destroyed or equip this card with more than one "Reaper Scythe - Dreadscythe" to boost its attack even higher.
- You can destroy "Guardian Eatos" with "Fire King Avatar Yaksha" while it is in your hand, so that you can Summon this card without actually Summoning "Eatos".
- Combo this card with "Temple of the Sun".
- Use this card with "Skill Drain" so that you can still Normal/Special Summon monsters. This card's self-reviving effect will not be hindered because it activates in the Graveyard, not on the field.

Unlimited Format[edit]
- With two "Night Assailants", one in the hand and the other in the Graveyard, you can discard one to add the other back to the hand, reviving this card for free.
