  • During the opponent's End Phase, this card's End Phase effect can be useful for flipping its controller's own problematic monsters face-down, such as "El Shaddoll Winda", "Invoked Caliga", a "Barrier Statue" monster, etc., in order to enable their own plays during their upcoming turn.
  • This card can be useful for flipping its controller's "Timelord" monsters face-down during the opponent's End Phase, preventing them from being shuffled into the Deck during their Standby Phase.
  • This card's End Phase effect can be useful for cards such as "Destiny HERO - Plasma", "Relinquished", "The Atmosphere", and "Thousand-Eyes Restrict", as they are all monsters capable of equipping only 1 monster to themselves at a time. Flipping them face-down with this card's effect (usually during the opponent's End Phase) will destroy the monsters that were equipped to them, allowing them to equip another monster once flipped face-up again.
  • While this card's effects can be useful for resetting the drawbacks of certain monsters' effects, such as "Indomitable Fighter Lei Lei", "Giant Orc", and some Level 4 "Goblin" monsters, those monsters will be vulnerable to attacks while in face-down Defense Position, thus being dependent on the opponent Normal/Special Summoning a monster, in order for this card's effect to trigger and flip them face-up again.
  • This card's End Phase effect can be useful for flipping Trap Monsters face-down (that still treat themselves as Traps), since they must be Set in the Spell & Trap Zone as a result, allowing them to be activated again during the following turns.
    • In particular, "Crusadia Krawler", "Dimension Reflector", the "Golden Land" Trap Monsters, "Apophis the Swamp Deity", and "Statue of Anguish Pattern" can benefit from this.
    • This card can still be somewhat useful in "Paleozoic" Decks (whose Trap Monsters do not treat themselves as Traps once Summoned), as it Sets them in face-down Defense Position, which permanently dispels their self-banishing effects (even if flipped face-up again).
      • While this card's effect can also have synergy with "Flip Flop Frog" (useful in the Deck for its status as a Level 2 monster), flipping "Paleozoic" Trap Monsters face-down will prevent them from applying their immunity against monster effects, has the risk of flipping their Xyz Monsters face-down (if present), and "Imperial Iron Wall" produces a similar result without these downsides.
  • This card's End Phase effect can be useful for granting protection from "Needle Ceiling" (used by either player).
