Traditional Format

• Use this card's effect to manipulate "Dandylion", "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast", "Re-Cover" and "Mezuki" by either sending them to the Graveyard or placing them on top of the Deck when planning on milling.

• Place a powerful monster on top of the Deck such as "Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning" or "Dark Armed Dragon".
  • Using a draw card like "Upstart Goblin" or "Archfiend's Oath", gives instant access to that monster.
  • With those two examples in particular, this card's other effect will help Summon them by manipulating the Graveyard.

• This card works very well in a "Lightsworn" Deck, to either dump "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast", and Special Summon it, or any other "Lightsworn" monster to fulfill the requirements for Summoning "Judgment Dragon" or even to put it on the top of the Deck and immediately draw it with "Solar Recharge".

• This card also works well in a "Gishki" Deck:
  • Combine it with "Gishki Zielgigas" or "Evigishki Levianima", by placing a "Gishki" monster on the top of the Deck before activating their effects;
  • You can also dump a monster like "Gishki Abyss" or "Gishki Marker" and use "Gishki Beast" to Special Summon them and trigger their effects;
    • You can also use "Gishki Beast" to Summon this card easily.
  • If you have a "Gishki" Ritual Monster on the Graveyard and you need to add it to your hand, you can use this card to send "Gishki Aquamirror" and activate its effect.

• Xyz Summon this card with at least 1 "Gem-Knight" monster and send "Gem-Knight Fusion"; then, banish the detached "Gem-Knight" to bring "Gem-Knight Fusion" to the hand.

• Use this card's effect with "Laval Phlogis" to turn this card into a 2100 ATK beater.
  • This will also increase the ATK of any other face-up "Laval" monsters by 300.

• Use this card's effect in an "Exodia" Deck to add two of the pieces to the hand faster.

• Use this card's effect in a "Koa'ki Meiru" Deck to send the "Iron Core of Koa'ki Meiru" to the Graveyard.
  • On the next turn, follow up by placing "Koa'ki Meiru Maximus" on top of the Deck.
  • This is also useful to get any Type of monster to use as maintenance.

• Use this card with "Star Drawing". Activate the effect of this card to place 1 monster on top of your Deck, then Xyz Summon with "Star Drawing", allowing you to draw that monster.
  • In a "Utopia" Deck, you can use this strategy to add any "ZW" to your hand if you do not have access to "ZW - Leo Arms".

• You can use this card in a "Gadget" Deck to send Tuner monster like "Glow-Up Bulb" to the Graveyard, allowing for Level 5 or 9 Synchro Summon plays.
  • Or you can send "Machina Fortress" and immediately Summon it.

• This card is extremely useful in "Infernity" Decks as well - the first effect can fill the Graveyard for "Infernity Necromancer", "Infernity Mirage" and "Infernity Launcher", while the second one can be used to set-up the effect of "Infernity Archfiend".

• This card also works well in a "Naturia" Deck, as you can get it out fast with "Naturia Pumpkin". Use its first effect to get cards into the Graveyard for "Naturia Eggplant", "Naturia Marron" or "Naturia Stag Beetle", or use its second ability to place "Naturia Bamboo Shoot", etc., on the top of the Deck.
  • If you send "Naturia Sacred Tree", you can add any other Naturia card from your Deck.

• This can work wonders in an "Inzektor" Deck. Summon "Summoner Monk", pitch a Spell to Special Summon "Armageddon Knight" and dump "Inzektor Hornet". Then Xyz into this and place "Inzektor Dragonfly" to the top of the Deck.

• This card can also be used in a "Crystal Beast" Deck, sending 2 "Crystal Beasts" to the Graveyard for an easier "Rainbow Dragon".

• Use the second effect twice to draw "Archlord Kristya" and "Hecatrice" (discarding the latter to gain "Valhalla, Hall of the Fallen") in two turns, to easily summon "Kristya".

• You can use the first effect to send cards like "Plaguespreader Zombie", "Mezuki", "Level Eater", "Quillbolt Hedgehog", "Treeborn Frog", "Ronintoadin", "Blackwing - Zephyros the Elite" and "Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor" for Synchro/Special/Tribute/Xyz Summoning.
  • This monster is very easily to Summon in a "Blackwing"-Deck. Normal Summon "Blackwing - Shura the Blue Flame" then Special Summon "Blackwing - Bora the Spear" and then Xyz Summon this card. Then use its effect to send "Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor" to the Graveyard for an possible Special Summoning of a "Blackwing" Synchro Monster, using the effect of "Vayu".
  • This card is very useful and easily Xyz summoned in "Dark World" Decks. Normal Summon a Level 4 "Dark World" monster like "Snoww, Unlight of Dark World" and then Special Summon "Beiige, Vanguard of Dark World" via card effects like "Dark World Dealings". Then you can use it's effect to send "Grapha, Dragon Lord of Dark World" to the Graveyard.
    • You can place "Grapha", "Snoww" or other "Dark World" monsters to the top and draw/discard them immediately with "Dark World Dealings" for their effects.

• This monster can be very useful too in "Exodia" Decks, as you can either place an "Exodia" piece on the top or send it to the Graveyard and recover it with "Dark Eruption" or "Dark Factory of Mass Production".

• This card is very useful for "Ritual Beast" Deck, as it allows you to send any "Spiritual Beast" monster straight from your Deck to the Graveyard, which you can revive with cards like "Ritual Beast Tamer Lara".
  • You can also use this card's second effect to place any "Ritual Beast Tamer" monster for your set-up next turn.
  • You can also send "Tempest, Dragon Ruler of Storms" for quickly set-up searching combo with "Ritual Beast Ulti-Cannahawk".

• In an "Elemental HERO" deck send "Mask Change", "Mask Change II", or "Form Change" to the Graveyard if you draw "Mask Charge" early in the duel, or bring a monster that you need for a Fusion Summon to the top of your Deck.

• This monster is useful in Empty Jar Decks, as it can either put "Morphing Jar" on the top of the Deck, or it can send "A/D Changer" to the Graveyard to help set up plays.
• In a Red-Eyes deck;
  • Add "The Black Stone of Legend" or "Red-Eyes Fusion" for quick summons of powerful monsters
  • Send Red-Eyes Monsters to the graveyard to set up special summons "Red-Eyes Spirit" or "Return of the Red-Eyes"
