Card Tips:Lich Lord, King of the Underworld
- This card can be searched by "Glow-Up Bloom", "Eldlixir of Black Awakening", "Eldlixir of Scarlet Sanguine", "Goblin Zombie", "Pyramid Turtle", "Chaos Zone", "Rescue Ferret", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- Before using this card in one's Deck, one should first compare it with "Sakitama", as both monsters have similar effects to add themselves to the hand when Tributed. However, while "Sakitama" is a Level 4 monster that can either add itself or another Spirit monster from the Graveyard, and can activate whenever it is Tributed (by card effect or as a cost), its effect can only be used once per turn, while the effect of the Level 6 "Lich Lord" can be used any number of times in a single turn, except only activating when Tributed by card effect.
- This card can work well with the effect of "Ectoplasmer" to continually inflict 1200 damage during its controller's End Phase. However, since this is a Level 6 monster, it will likely need to be Special Summoned each time, such as by Pendulum Summon or by the effect of "Call of the Mummy".
- This card can be very useful in Decks that use Ritual Monsters, since most Ritual Spells require Tributing monsters as part of their effects, allowing this card to serve as a renewable source of Tributes.
