- This card can be searched by "Triple Tactics Thrust", "Endymion, the Mighty Master of Magic", and other generic searchers.
- To maximize the damage this card inflicts, monsters like "Lava Golem", "Jizukiru, the Star Destroying Kaiju", or "Thunder King, the Lightningstrike Kaiju" can be Special Summoned to the opponent's field.
- Since this card prevents its user from attacking during the turn it's activated, it is best combined with other card effects that have the same drawback, or prevent the user from conducting their Battle Phase, in order to mitigate this downside.
- Accordingly, this card's drawback can be efficiently utilized in a "Elementsaber"/"Elemental Lord" or "Volcanic" Deck, with the latter Deck being more favorable since its monsters use their effects to continually inflict damage to the opponent.
- Before using this card in a Deck, its pros/cons should be compared with "Edge of the Ring", which is a Quick-Play Spell Card with the exact same effect as this card, but prevents the opponent from taking any further damage during the turn it's activated, and can only be activated if the opponent's LP are higher.
