- Kurivolt can quickly help in Xyz Summoning this card while there are other Xyz Monsters on the field.
- Several combos can Summon this card quickly.
- Use "Photon Veil" to return 3 LIGHT monsters from your hand to your Deck, and add 3 "Watapon" to your hand. Use their effects to Special Summon them, then Xyz Summon this card. Any "Watapon" in your hand can be returned for "Photon Veil", so even having all 3 of the "Watapon" in your hand can't make this combo unusable. Not that this will only work once unless you return all 3 of the "Watapon" to either your hand or Deck.
- Use "Kinka-byo" to revive a Level 1 monster from your Graveyard, then you can Special Summon "Turbo Booster" from your hand since you Normal Summoned "Kinka-byo".
- These combos can be used together if your hand contains 3 LIGHT monsters, "Photon Veil", "Kinka-byo" and "Turbo Booster", so you can Summon this card and its fellow "Number", "Number 83: Galaxy Queen", allowing you to protect this card. However, it will most likely empty your hand to do this. Having the Spell Card "Where Arf Thou?" in your hand can also replace either "Kinka" or "Booster", but they must be used to add the missing card to the hand. If "Booster" is added by "Doggy?!", note that you will take 2000 points of damage because the monster added by "Doggy?!" must be Normal Summoned to prevent the damage and "Turbo Booster" is Special Summoned in this combo.
- In a "Lightsworn" Deck, you can return a useless "Wulf, Lightsworn Beast" to your Deck to draw a more useful card.
- In a "Malefic" Deck, you can return the original version of a monster to your Deck to be able to Special Summon the "Malefic" version of that monster.
- In a Assault Mode Deck, you can return the Assault Mode version of a monster to your Deck to be able to Summon it.
- Combine this card with "A Feather of the Phoenix" to draw the card that was returned to the top of your Deck by its effect, if you don't want to wait until your next turn to draw it.
- Use "Mist Body", "Heart of Clear Water", or "Number Wall" to protect this card.
- In an "Exodia" Deck, you can easily draw "Exodia" parts with this card's effect.
- In a "Meklord" Deck, this card's effect helps you to draw and collect "Meklord" cards in your hand in order to Special Summon "Meklord Astro Mekanikle".
- You can summon "Downerd Magician" by Xyz Evolution using this card. If you have not detached any of this card's Xyz Materials before summoning "Downerd Magician", then "Downerd Magician" will start off with 2900 ATK.
- If "Rank-Up-Magic - The Seventh One" was added to your hand outside of your normal draw, you can use the effect of this card to return it to your Deck.
