Card Tips:Powersink Stone
- This card can be searched by "Pharaonic Advent", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be useful against "Fortune Lady" monsters. Since every "Fortune Lady" monster activates an effect during the player's Standby Phase, your opponent will be locked down, while you still can use effects during your turn.
- This card can stop "Monarch" monsters who rely on Special Summoning to gain Tribute Fodder. The first effect will go through, but once the second effect is activated, it and every subsequent effect is negated for the turn.
- Activating a card like "D.D. Crow" in chain to an opponent's card effect will bar the effect, and cause it to be negated before it can properly resolve, as the stone will have 2 counters before either effect resolves. Because "D.D. Crow" is a hand effect, and not a field one, You will still get the removal, but your opponent will likely get squat.
- In a Skill Drain Deck that is using this card as a back-up "Skill Drain", you can send two or three "Darklord Marie" to the GY. This way, you not only get 400-600 LP a turn, but all negative monster effects (ideal ones being that of "Giant Orc" or "Goblin Attack Force") will be negated during your turn.
- This card works great with "Light and Darkness Dragon".
