Card Tips:Rai Rider
- This card can be searched by "Thunder Dragon Fusion", "Thunder Dragonduo", "Chaos Zone", "Photon Veil", "Shining Angel", "Shadow's Light", "Sphere of Chaos", "Serpentine Princess", "Battle Royal Mode - Joining", "Vampire Dragon", "Rescue Ferret", "Umbramirage the Elemental Lord", "Sangan", "Witch of the Black Forest", and other generic searchers.
- "Recycling Batteries" and "Ray of Hope" can be used to return "Rai Rider", and, depending on which card is used, one other Thunder Monster to the hand or one other LIGHT Monster to the Main Deck.
- "Rai Rider" can be Special Summoned by Quick-Play Spell Card: "Photon Lead", especially if it is played during the opponent's turn, giving you either a free summon for later, or another monster to keep your opponent from launching a Direct attack.
- You can Set this card and wait for your opponent to attack this face-down card.
- While your opponent controls a lot of monsters, change this card to defense position and equip it with "Mist Body", then use "Battle Mania", all your opponent's monsters will attack this card, it will survive, and they won't be able to attack anymore.
- Ram this card into a "Lava Golem" and your opponent will not be able to attack with it.
- Equip this card with "Shine Palace" to raise its ATK by 700, giving it a respectable 1900, making it harder to take out, especially if this was done on the first turn.
- "Shift" can be very useful when combined with this card, allowing you greater control over the situation. Other cards to consider for this combo are "Patrician of Darkness" and "Call of the Earthbound"
