Card Tips:Red-Eyes Dark Dragoon
- This card can be Fusion Summoned with "Magicalized Fusion", "Red-Eyes Fusion", "Timaeus the United Dragon" and "The Eye of Timaeus".
- The first effect of "Keeper of Dragon Magic" can be used to search a "Polymerization" / "Fusion" Normal Spell, and its second effect can Special Summon "Dark Magician", possibly enabling this card's Fusion Summon.
- In "Branded-Despia" decks, this card can be Fusion Summoned with "Lubellion the Searing Dragon" or "Albion the Branded Dragon", either of which can be easily Fusion Summoned with "Branded Fusion" (using "Dark Magician" for "Lubellion", either "Goddess with the Third Eye" or "The Light - Hex-Sealed Fusion" for "Albion").
Countering[edit]
- This card can be Tributed to Summon a "Kaiju" monster or "The Winged Dragon of Ra - Sphere Mode".
- "Forbidden Droplet" can be a simple yet effective way to deal with this card, since it not only negates its effects, but also doesn't target, can't be negated by this card if a monster is sent for its cost, and it halves this card's ATK, making it easier to be destroyed by battle.
- "Dark Ruler No More" is also effective, since it doesn't target and its activation can't be negated by this card.
- "Draco Berserker of the Tenyi" is another easy card that can get rid of it since it doesn't target.
- "Super Polymerization" can be used to Fusion Summon a monster using this card with this card being unable to negate it. Examples include "Predaplant Triphyoverutum", "Mudragon of the Swamp", etc.
- Alternatively, if this card has already negated an effect during its opponent's turn:
- "Fallen of Albaz" can be used to Fusion Summon a monster using this card as material, such as "Titaniklad the Ash Dragon", "Starving Venom Fusion Dragon", etc.
- "Master of Chaos" or other cards that have both non-targeting and non-destruction removal such as "Ice Dragon's Prison", "Lib the World Key Blademaster", "Storming Mirror Force", "Eater of Millions", etc.
- Alternatively, if this card has already negated an effect during its opponent's turn:
- "Night Dragolich" can single-handedly deal with this card, since its Continuous Effect will change this card to Defense Position and lower its DEF value, so it can be easily destroyed by battle.
- Cards that already has 4000 ATK or above, or can gain more ATK than 4000 for battling (particularly if said effect is Continuous Effect like "Palladium Oracle Mahad"), provided it has not negated enough cards to reach more ATK.
- Either effect of "Trishula, Zero Dragon of the Ice Barrier" can be used against this card. If its first effect is negated by this card, it will be destroyed and its second effect will be triggered, making this card vulnerable by negating its effect and halving its ATK, while Special Summoning a "Trishula, Dragon of the Ice Barrier" in the process.
Traditional Format[edit]
- "Predaplant Verte Anaconda" can be used to send "Red-Eyes Fusion" to the Graveyard, in order to Fusion Summon this card.
