Card Tips:Rivalry of Warlords
- This card can be searched by "Pharaonic Advent", "The Despair Uranus", and other generic searchers.
- This card can be effectively used in any deck that uses 1 type of monster, such as "Blackwing", "Spellbook"/"Prophecy", "Blue-Eyes", "Cyber Dragon", "Battlin' Boxer", etc. In addition, it is useful against popular Decks that make use of monsters of more than one Type, such as "Lightsworn", "Mermail" or any Xyz-reliant Deck, since they have generic Xyz monsters of different Types.
- If combined with cards that can change the type of all monsters on the field (such as "DNA Surgery" and "Zombie World"), this will further restrict the opponent from summoning any monsters except of that type.
- This card is one of the only few cards that can counter the monsters that can tribute the opponent's monster to summon them, such as "Kaiju" monsters, "Nibiru, the Primal Being", or "Lava Golem". As they cannot be summoned if the monster on the side they were meant to be summoned is not the same type of theirs.
- This card is more effective if activated in a moment when the opponent controls monsters of 2 or more Types.
- If combined with "Gozen Match", this card can restrict even more the monsters of the opponent. This can be particularly useful in Decks like "Blackwing", "Destiny HERO" and "Cyber Dragon".
- You can combine this card with "There Can Be Only One" to completely lock both players into playing one monster at a time.
