• Because this card is treated as a "Des Frog" while on the field, it can be supported by "Frog" support cards. "Des Croaking" can also be used when there are 3 of these on your field, which can be very easy to manage due to its effect.
  • Special Summon this card by its effect and use "Inferno Reckless Summon". 3 "Des Frog" will be Special Summoned.

• This monster is an alternate Tribute fodder for "Treeborn Frog" at "Monarch" Decks, as long as there are some "Frog" monsters sorted in at the Deck.

Traditional Format

• This card is vital for use in "Frog OTK" Decks:
  • Begin by having on your field a "Substitoad" (either from your hand or via "One for One") and one other monster. Tribute the monster with the effect of "Substitoad" to Special Summon a "Swap Frog". Use its effect to send a "T.A.D.P.O.L.E." from your Deck to the Graveyard. Tribute this "Swap Frog" for a second "Swap Frog" and use its effect to send your second "T.A.D.P.O.L.E." to the Graveyard. Then Tribute your second "Swap Frog" for a third "Swap Frog", this time sending this card to the Graveyard. Banish one of your "Swap Frogs" to Special Summon this card. Tribute it for "Beelze Frog" and do that again for the second "Beelze Frog". Use the effect of "Swap Frog" to return "Substitoad" to your hand, so "Des Frog" can be Tribute Summoned by Tributing "Swap Frog". Use your "Des Frog" to Special Summon 2 more copies from your hand or Deck. Then activate "Des Croaking", clearing your opponent's field for a direct attack: 1900 + 1900 + 1900 + 1800 + 1800 = 9300.
  • Or, much more simple, simply have "Substitoad" and "Mass Driver" and ANY "Frog" monster. Continuously mill out your Deck by Tributing cards due to the effect of "Substitoad", sending more than 20 "Frog" monsters to Graveyard with this card (or 18 "Frog" monsters if there is one in the field with "Substitoad"). Then, keep Special Summoning and Tributing with the effect of "Mass Driver" for 8000 damage.

• Special Summon "Substitoad" with "One for One" then Normal/Special Summon "Swap Frog" to send this card to the Graveyard, Tribute "Swap Frog" for any other frog except "Dupe Frog" or "Des Frog", activate this card's effect by banishing your "Swap Frog" and chain "Inferno Reckless Summon" to Special Summon your other two "Frog" monsters, activate "Shield & Sword" or "Inverse Universe", and then "Des Croaking". Attack with your three "Ronintoadin", "Substitoad" and the "Frog" that was Summoned to inflict at least 8000 damage.
