- The latter monster's appearance is fitting because the secondary effect of this card is similar to "Destruction Punch" and "Continuous Destruction Punch", two other cards that this monster is appears in in which it is punching an enemy.
- A Cross-Counter is a punch thrown immediately after the opponent punches, in an attempt to exploit the opening made. This is basically what is being depicted on the card, with "Des Kangaroo" countering the punch of "Behemoth" by exploiting the size difference between the two.
- This card shares its name with a tag team in Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's World Championship 2009: Stardust Accelerator consisting of "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes" and "Cosmic Fortress Gol'gar".
