  • This card is based on Zeus, the Greek god of the sky and the ruler of Mount Olympus.
    • According to The Valuable Book EX, "AA-ZEUS" is the 12th weapon in a series of weapons created to fight against humanity's fate and slay the gods. This number references the Twelve Olympians that Zeus rules over.
      • The reading "Negalogia" (ネガロギア Negarogia) for the kanji in this card's Japanese name references this monster's purpose. Logia is a Greek term used in reference to communications of divine origin or, in other words, the 'Word of God'. Nega- is a prefix denoting an antithesis of something, so "Negalogia" references how this monster stands in opposition against the fate determined by the gods.
  • Based on its similar name and effects, "Super Starslayer TY-PHON - Sky Crisis" appears to be related to this card.
    • The reading "Logiastella" (ロギアステラ Rogiasutera) for the kanji in the Japanese name of "TY-PHON" implies an opposing relationship against the "Negalogia" reading in the Japanese name of "AA-ZEUS".
      • The Greek origins of both cards also imply an opposing relationship, as the monster Typhon was originally birthed to defeat and overthrow the god Zeus.
