  • Similar to the "Gravekeeper's" monsters released in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's era whose designs are based on characters from the Ishtar family, this card (which was released in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL era) also bears resemblance to a character from the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime and manga.
    • This monster bears significant resemblance to Thief King Bakura in many ways, including the white hair and similarly torn clothes. The ruins in the artwork's background could be a reference to his destroyed village, Kul Elna.
    • This monster also bears a slight resemblance to Marik Ishtar, who defied all of his Tomb Keeper family's traditions by murdering his father and leaving the tomb (i.e., becoming a "heretic").
  • This is the only "Gravekeeper's" monster without any hieroglyphic symbols in the background of its artwork.
  • This monster has an upgraded form: "Gravekeeper's Supernaturalist".
