Forum:A Weekly Guide

So I was thinking of creating a sort of a weekly guide that shows something cool about a underused deck, like Jurracs. So this week I decided to show something cool about a Jurrac Deck. But first an intro to them...

Jurracs are a great archetype if used correctly. They have a better version of a RotA (aka "Fossil Dig"), their own Pot of Greed (aka Jurrac Dino, and their own floater (aka "Jurrac Velo"). Jurracs are a field control type of deck. They swarm the field with "Jurrac Velo" and "Jurrac Guaiba", revive monsters with Aeolo, and can have multiple combos. Now that were done with the (Not-so-great) intro, let's go to the combo I was going to show.

Jurracs, used correctly, can OTK your opponent. So here is the Jurrac combo I came up with.

  • Normal Summon Jurrac Guaiba, attack successfully with Guaiba, get "Jurrac Dino" from your deck, and Synchro Summon them to get a "Jurrac Giganot" with 2500 ATK.
  • On your next turn, Normal Summon 1 "Jurrac Aeolo", Tribute it to get one "Guaiba" with 2300 ATK, attack successfully with it to get out a "Jurrac Dino", and Synchro Summon a Level 7 "Jurrac Giganot" with 3100 ATK.
  • On the next turn, repeat as the previous turn,
  • The next part is optional but it helps greatly:
  • Offensive: Rekindle your 2 Aeolos in the grave, Tribute 1 "Aeolo" to get a "Guaiba" onto the field, and then Synchro Summon the Aeolo and the Guaiba to get out a Catastor.
  • Defensive- Rekindle your 2 "Aeolos" and Tribute both to get 2 "Guaibas", overlay to summon "Evolzar Laggia".

For a good starting hand, you will need 1 "Jurrac Guaiba", 2 "Aeolo", and a "Rekindling" would be nice. To help you get the starting hand, we have 3 "Fossil Digs", 3 "Jurrac Velos" and 2 "Flamvell Firedogs" in this deck.

  • The Spell line-up should lower your opponent's monsters' ATK, so run 2-3 copies of "Shrink" and "Forbidden Lance", along with some staples.
  • The Trap line-up should protect your monsters. So here is the deck line-up:

Kinka-Byo abuses Aeolo's effect, and i think everything else is self-explanatory. So that is the first weekly guide I created. Thanks and feel free to input24.6.164.48 (talk) 04:16, December 4, 2012 (UTC)

Umm.... what happened...... Up there24.6.164.48 (talk) 04:14, December 4, 2012 (UTC)

No worries, I fixed it. Tip: A little proper grammar and capitalization (with quotation marks) can go a long ways for gaining your post respect. To see the differences between your original version, and the one I fixed up, just click on the yellow button near the top of the page (the drop-down button next to "Edit") and click on "History". There you can select 2 versions of this page at a time, and see what the difference was between them. Hope this helps! --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 04:59, December 4, 2012 (UTC)

You might want to take a look at this thread and its individual guides. You can also post your suggestions in the relevant guides' talk pages in case they haven't been covered yet. It'll be up to the writer/updater to decide if it's feasible to cover, though. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 07:07, December 4, 2012 (UTC)
