Forum:A dragon beatdown in dire need of immediate first aid

Ok so this is basically the first deck I’ve used since…the Kaiba starter deck. And I retired for several years before I came back to this children’s card game not long ago. I know i should try to stick to 40 cards, but im having trouble trimming down. Anyways, any suggestions are welcome, but know that this is not a very competitive deck (yet). You have been warned.

I changed up my deck a bit; side-decked some anti-monsters, added Neo-Spacian Grand Mole, Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6, Prime Material Dragon, and Neo-Spacian Grand MolePsyello 23:17, December 10, 2009 (UTC)

And unless I somehow pull out another REDMD, I’m vying towards trading my REDMD for something along the lines of:

• Stardust Dragon
• Prime Material Dragon (Gold Rare)
• Horus Lv6 (Common)
• Blue-Eyes White Dragon
• Decoy Dragon
• Magna Drago
• White Stone of Legend (maybe multiple copies)

this puts me in a slight dilemma, as i want REDMD to be able to special summon stardust, prime material, etc, but I won't be able to get them without trading away REDMD. Psyello 01:22, December 6, 2009 (UTC)

My Thoughts

Well, I'd suggest taking out Vindictive, Man Eater, and most of the other destruction cards. They arn't very necasary in dragon decks since anything they could kill, one of your dragons could probabaly do it first (a few are good to have in emergencies though). Maybe Element Dragon since his stats are pretty poor unless you get him some friends. Most of your substututes are good, but I'd refrain from trading REDMD. Just try to trade for another, it will be better in the long run. Most of those trades look good to have though. Try to get them. the thing is, I don't really want to spend another $30-40 on another REDMD (nor do I have much of a way of obtaining another one) so I haven't been able to use it much. i thought that getting Stardust, Prime Material, Horus would do a better job of protecting my dragons and that they would appear more often than a single REDMD (since I don't have that many things to summon with its effect)...but then i'll have trouble summoning them. I agree with what's been said so far, but you might also want to remove junk synchron since you'll be taking out most of his targets. The equip cards can go as well, dragons already have that kind of power. Also, if you still want to trade Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon(still your call but with what you said before, chances are you won't be getting another one), just make sure that you get what you want.

So are you getting all those for the REDDM?

i think im going to stick with REDMD, but i'll also try to buy some of the cards (Prime material, horus, decoy, and neo-spacian grand mole). I figured that it would be too much work to try and incorporate synchros into a dragon deck (unless someone knows an effective way of doing so) and i wouldn't be able to summon them very often, so i decided i didn't need stardust for the time being (and i would just work with prime material dragon), which took out the tuners, which also took out BEWD (since i would rarely draw it without white stone of legend)... now that im on this, how much should the set of Prime material, horus, decoy, and neo-spacian grand mole be worth buying for?Psyello 05:55, December 7, 2009 (UTC)

deck recommend

i wonder if there could be anybody who would consider to make a story of hidden village where humans n dragons lived together peacefully, complimenting there are some strong heroes n legendary dragons in the climax.
