so i was playing WC10 and i had defender in defense mode and my opponent had Light and Darkness dragon

on his standby phase defender activated and LADD activated to negate it but then defender activated again and LADD activated again in response and continued until LADD was so out of attack that my opponent had to draw.

Ok, I get it now. The effect of Destiny Hero - Defender activates during the Standby Phase. Once it activates, LaDD will negate it, but it doesn't destroy it so Defender still remains on the field. Since it is still the Standby Phase, the effect of Defender will activate once again and the whole process repeats itself until LaDD runs out of ATK and DEF. yeah well i wqas playing this evel deck witht hte new SJC fairy cards and it saved my hide...

uuuuuuuuuugh their attack points are so high and mausoleum plus valhalla makes them easy summons......ahhhhhh

i was playing them with my own fairy deck and i won 3/3 but still they were a pain... it was a hard win

Athena allows for the special summon of Fairy monsters from the graveyard. It also deals a lot of damage with Darklord Superbia and that combo always ends up with a field full of high level Fairies.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 15:20, August 1, 2010 (UTC)
