What episode in the English dub did Yami Yugi/Atem figure out he was from ancient Egypt?

In the very beginning of the English dub of the Battle City arc, Yami Yugi at least knows that he is from ancient Egypt, such as when he speaks with Yugi in episode 52 and says Yugi could have been a pharaoh since he is brave, and when he talks to Tea in the coffee shop in the next episode about the little facts that he knows, like being from ancient Egypt. However, in the Japanese version when Yugi is talking with Yami, that conversation is completely different, about how Yami has absolutely no idea or memories at all when Yugi finally questions his identity. In the original Yami learns both his Egyptian origin and that he was once Pharaoh in the museum in episode 54, while in the dub's same episode he just learns about being Pharaoh.

So although the Japanese version has the episode 54 showing Yami learns both his origin and royalty, he already knows at the dub's start of the arc that he is from ancient Egypt. Which episode (Duelist Kingdom, right?) did he learn his country's origin in the dub?Mistystar31 (talk • contribs) 04:15, December 22, 2014 (UTC)
