If a card like Judgment Dragon has its effect activated, do the machines i control equiped with Machina Peacekeeper get destroyed? usually, peacekeeper prevents its host from being destroyed by anything, but if peacekeeper and its host are supposed to be destroyed at the same time, what happens? Union Monster cannot save its host in this case, just like "If “Power Tool Dragon” and the card equipped to it would be destroyed at the same time (by “Judgment Dragon,” for example), you cannot send the Equip Spell Card to the Graveyard to save “Power Tool Dragon"."-- (talkcontribs) 01:58, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

Bummer. Oh well. Unions are still sweet! — This unsigned comment was made by Thedarkdoor (talkcontribs) 10:28, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

You forgot to sign your tildes? Union's conflict was same reason that "Six Samurais" cannot overpower the Mirror Force or Torrential, ever if two were naming different. --FredCat 11:05, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

Wait guys. There's a conflict. Yes, Power Tool Dragon does read that way, however:

If "Spirit of the Six Samurai" and its equipped "Six Samurai" monster are going to be destroyed simultaneously by an effect like "Final Destiny", the "If the equipped monster would be destroyed, destroy this card instead." effect of "Spirit of the Six Samurai" can be applied. "Spirit of the Six Samurai" will be destroyed instead of the "Six Samurai" monster, and the "Six Samurai" monster will remain face-up on the field.[1]

So apparently, yeah, union monsters are for some reason just better than Power Tool Dragon.75.60.219.0 (talk) 17:00, May 13, 2011 (UTC)

No, it's just the OCG ruling. TCG ruling is different; for now. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 00:20, May 14, 2011 (UTC)
