Okay, I know the rulings for the TCG-only cards for Stardust Overdrive haven't come out, yet, but I've spotted a potential ruling concern with "Yellow Baboon, Archer of the Forest", and I want to make sure of something, first.
Anyone remember what the rulings were for "Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest", before it was ruled that it couldn't be Special Summoned by its effect during the Damage Step? If so, does anyone remember what the rulings were if the monster destroyed by battle was "Nimble Momonga" or a similar Beast? Did they rule that Nimble Momomga's effect meant Green Baboon missed the timing, or did they just start their own chain? I'm asking, because it's bound to be brought up regarding Yellow Baboon's effect, and if we knew how the ruling was handled with Green Baboon pre-errata, then that's likely how they'll handle the ruling for Yellow Baboon. 66.228.109.2 23:09, October 28, 2009 (UTC)
- Neither effect will miss the timing. When "Nimble Momonga" is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, the last thing to happen is "Nimble Momonga" being destroyed and sent to the Graveyard by battle, so the effects of "Nimble Momonga" and "Yellow Baboon, Archer of the Forest" both activate and form a Chain according to SEGOC. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 04:00, October 29, 2009 (UTC)
