Focuses on Warriors

Now, I need to do some changes. I might in the future replace Tyrant, Tyrrano, Shock Trooper and Chiron once I get suitable replacements. I was planning to replace Tyrant and Tyrrano for Dark Magician And Dark Eradicator Warlock seeing how I already have them. I have quite a few Spellcaster cards, so adding support for them seems wise, especially with The A. Forces, which I need to get. If I make that change, I'll swap Footballer for Mystical Elf. I also need Elemental Hero Neos Alius for his stats and being a Warrior. I'm not sure if Remove Trap was a staple, so I didn't add it. I also could use Torrential Tribute and Mirror Force. I might remove Necklace for something else. Drawing one card seems too little for me now. Removing Tyrrano would allow me to use Sea Horse with less restraints. I could add some field cards, like Forest, Mausoleum of the Emperor, Luminous Spark and Sogen, but I don't think I have room. I play TCG Advanced. Any suggestions? EDIT:Necklace of Command replaced with Sangan in side deck. True, it only works for 6 (14 if you count side deck) monsters, but Command Knight is one of them, and that's important. Ok, so now Sangan removed, The Shallow Grave added to main, Scapegoat added to main, Brron, Mad King of Dark World removed, Compulsory Evacuation Device moved to side and The Creator Incarnate added to side. Once I get The A. Forces, I was thinking about adding Chaos Sorcerer instead of Dark Magician or Warlock, so I'd have at least 1 extra space free. Didn't like the idea of having only 1 card another monster needs to be of use. Once I get my hands on another Sea Horse and some Neos Alius's, I'll replace Shocktrooper and Chiron with them. I'm also uncertain about whether I should swap Gearfried the Iron Knight or Ninja Grandmaster Sasuke with either D.D. Warrior Lady or D.D. Assailant or just replace the 2 with the later 2, once I get my hands on them....

Ok, now most recent edit. Right now, I know what cards I need to get, but not really which ones to replace them with. I also am looking for some cards that meet some requirements. I'm looking for good, non-restricted, LIGHT type 2 tribute (perferably LVL 8) monsters. Elemental Hero Neos is the only one I know of, and he's rather costly at the moment. Removing Tyrrano, the Sphinxes, and Felgrand give me 5 slots. I also am thinking about Dark Magician Girl, for a 1 cost monster, which the deck lacks. I still need Mirror Force and Torrential Tribute. I also plan on getting Shrink soon. I needed to trade The Creator for Blade Knight, so I might add him and the Incarnate back once I buy another Creator. I would also like a Magician's Valkyria, but the store I go to has it for a high price, and out of stock. Also, I need good Spellcaster support cards. I got Magicians Unite and Magical Blast, what do you think? Also got a name :3

Ok, first ur deck needs to be smaller. u should try keeping it close to 40. to do this, u should iliminate the cards that dont always work or are not the best. felgrand and super conductor and those such are not so good by its self, but if u had to choose one, id say tyranno. anyways. Dark magician????? all by its self? dude, its not that great, esp if u dont have magical dimension. take it out, as well as useless equips like malevolent nuzzler. if ur gonna use one, use united we stand. much better. the sphinx cards u dont really need. i mean its slow. really. u dont have pyramid of light, and u cant atk on the first turn! what if some one uses dad or something one it? or smashing ground? it becomes useless. and ur traps arent loooking too good. magic jammer is not good. i suggest magic drain. i know solemn judgement is good, but its expensive so i wont tell u to use it (cause i dont have it eitherXD) get rid of spellbinding circle!!!!!!!!!! it sucks BEEP sorry haha but i mean shadow spell is already better. saku armor is much better. and u listed draining shield 2 times. why do u need appropriate? it should be in ur sidedeck. hope this helps Jetronix 11:27, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

Well, I do know I still need more cards to replace. I have recently changed the deck (cards order just came in today) and removed Telia, Tyranno, Thenien, Exiled Force, C.E.D and Swing of Memories for Shrink, Elemental Hero Neos Alis, Sword Hunter, The Creator and The Creator Incarnate. Now, for Dark Magician, he won't be alone. I plan on adding Dark Magician Girl and Sorcerer of Dark Magic, and maybe even Magician of Black Chaos once I get the money. However, if you do know a better LVL8+ (preferably LIGHT) Spellcaster (NOT The LV monsters), tell me please. I want to use Kaiser Sea Horse. Most of the weaker cards are the best I currently have, so I will replace them. I'll need to do some battles to know which cards to remove. The equip cards are, well, just there. They work with Maha Vailo well, and because I will replace Malevolent Nuzzler with Axe of Despair once I get another. I will also add Elemental Hero Neos once I get them. Only because there wasn't many good Warrior LIGHT tribute monsters. Will see if I can afford United We Stand and will look into the rest. Shadow Spell I will have to get, and, well, Shadow Spell doesn't always prevent a magic's effect, but will replace Dimension Wall for it, but I need to find a way to add Mirror Force and Torrential Tribute. And should I add a Ritual Monster? Which one?

I think you should and in Voltic Kong, 1800 attack and its effect removes cards fromt he opponents deck for each light monster on your side of the field Blood-Stained-Doz 15:15, 8 November 2008 (UTC)

Well, Voltic Kong is a beast monster, but thanks for the suggestion. I do plan to finally remove the Dark Magicians (along with the Felgrand and Andro) from the deck, but first I must find a stronger Spellcaster than Dark Magician. I also need to find a good Spellcaster support card that works like a field card, but I couldn't find any results. I might even remove all spellcasters and try all warriors, but that seems unlikely.

I will add more cards to this (past 50) and Synchro Monsters, but I won't post changes until I get more sleeves.

Personal Thoughts

  • Sword Hunter has a mediocre ATK boosting effect that will waste your S/T spaces. Also note that he has a low ATK for his level to begin with.
  • If you seek ATK boosts, get something like a United We Stand or a Mage Power.
  • Also, pick things up that boast a high ATK and can be summoned easily. Things like Chainsaw Insect and Cyber Dragon come to mind. Goblin Elite Attack Force can also be considered, seeing that it boasts enough DEF to not be run over by any small monster.
  • No need for a Ritual Monster, either.
  • You might want to obtain multiple copies of cards that will aid you. 3 Command Knights will result in a great ATK stack, and your opponent can't attack them either.
  • Note that whilst your monsters will run rampant with a high ATK, they will be vulnerable to effects. Get a few cards that will negate stuff that seeks to stop you, or some cards that will protect themselves.
  • If you seek stall, get Swords of Revealing Light. It'll hold you out for three turns, affecting all your opponent's monsters (unlike only one, which Mask of the Accursed or Spellbinding Circle does).
  • Dimension Wall is not very good. The only thing that it will change in a battle is the person taking the damage, so for protecting your monsters it's not a wise choice.
  • Consider the timings of your Traps, too. If you can't easily chain them to any S/T removal, they end up being wasted compared to those which can chain to the removal.
    • i.e. Negate Attack stops an entire Battle Phase, but is subject to being removed before you can activate it. Threatening Roar can, at the very least, chain to the removal, keeping its effect and still stopping an entire Battle Phase.

I hope these tips help. --Gadjiltron 08:15, 11 December 2008 (UTC)

although therer is no need for synchro, but try using comrade of swordsman of landstar also, try raregold armor which is also useful to keep u on the right track.

That help is useful Gadjiltron, but Cyber Dragon and the like are expensive and not warrior. Few warriors are stronger than Sword Hunter, but I might replace him with Gorz once Christmas comes around. EEV worsk well with Dark Magician, and I can also use it with C.Fighter. Added another copy of O.Celtic, and added Warrior Lady. Will see how 52 card count works. Merry Christmas everyone! TehBazzard 17:46, 24 December 2008 (UTC) Fixed deck listing and noteably has Gorz now instead of Sword Hunter.

Minor edit, just replaced wildheart with Sangan TehBazzard 08:26, 3 January 2009 (UTC) Also, forget all my strategies, just add your advice. TehBazzard 02:25, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

if your going to put a bunch of spellcasters in (though this is a rare card and I am VERY lucky to have gotten it in a booster pack) get sorcerer of darkness. Great if you have over 3 spellcasters (or is it 5?)in your deck.

  • I checked the Wiki. There doesn't seem to be a card with that name. Care to clarify? TehBazzard 17:31, 14 January 2009 (UTC)

Sorry, I just looked in my deck and he isn't called that. He is Sorcerer of Dark Magic.

BIG UPDATE

Most spellcaster support removed, whittled 3 cards out, added several useful warrior monsters, I just need Mirror Force, and Dark Bribes, and this deck should be at it's prime.
