1. I have a Batteryman AA on my field. I Summon another one. Can my opponent bottomless the Summoning AA, or does AA gain the ATK AFTER its Summoned? Same with cards like Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes.

2. Can someone bottomless a monster that states "The ATK (and DEF) of this card are equal to blah blah blah," or does a card with a text like that ALSO gain ATK after its Summoned? — This unsigned comment was made by Yugioh DED (talkcontribs) 01:18, June 9, 2010

1. "Bottomless Trap Hole" use the current ATK at time of Summoning to determine you can activate it or not. The second "Batteryman AA" will have 2000 ATK when it hits the field, and "Bottomless Trap Hole" can be activated. The same with "Vennominon the King of Poisonous Snakes" (if it has 1500 or more ATK when it is Summoned to the field).

2. "Bottomless Trap Hole" can only be activated when the last thing that resolved was the opponent Summoning a monster. If a card that gains ATK after its Summoned, the last thing resolved was the increase ATK, so "Bottomless Trap Hole" cannot be activated at this time. Blackwings0605 01:31, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

Wait

So bottomless can't work on cards like Megarock Dragon or Evil Dragon Ananta? Also, can my opponent activate bottomless if I Summon a monster with more than 1500 ATK because of Solidarity?Yugioh DED 01:37, June 9, 2010 (UTC)

  1. you remove the monsters as you Special Summon Megarock/Ananta, so you can bottomless them if they have enough ATK
  2. ALL continuous effects are instantly applied, then Bottomless looks at that attack. So you can Bottomless if Solidarity make it have more than 1500 ATK. Falzar FZ 01:54, June 9, 2010 (UTC)
