Forum:Burn/Stall/Effect Deck

Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone could give me some tips/hints on how to improve my current deck.

This deck has a stall/burn theme to it. I threw in some miscellaneous cards because of their (flip) effects. For those who can't figure it out, I aim to:

  • Inflict burn damage with monster effects and appropriate support
  • Stall the opponent and/or have their attacks result in damage/drawbacks
  • Amplify any burn damage with Dark Room of Nightmare

Direct any comments or tips to my talk page.

I usually win against my friends with this deck. Usually, in my initial draw, I can get a card which allows me to stall nicely. However, I occasionally find maintaining a stall difficult, especially if I don't draw level-limiting cards, searchers or 'cannot be destroyed in battle' cards.

Any help/constructive criticism would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. --HybridDragoness (talkcontribs) 11:43, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

this is my version of a stall/fireburn deck. it can kill your enemy much quicker. inferno reckless summon is gift by the gods for this deck. if you can safe them, 3 raging flame sprite or baseball kids or solar dragon are realy strong. 87.147.247.88 (talk) 13:21, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks. Too bad I don't have many of the cards there; I really need some Wave-Motion Cannons. I'm getting a few new cards soon, hopefully. --HybridDragoness (talkcontribs) 22:31, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

For stalling, try "The Dark Door", "Begone Knave", or "Toll". Don't forget that dark door and scrap iron scarecrow make an almost impenetrable wall from attacks. DNA surgery along with insect barrier is another attack guard. Simply change all monsters to insects and they can't attack. For burning try fire princess with LP restoring cards for a decent burn damage, and combine that with robbin goblin to leave your opponent with less cards to fight back with every time you burn them
