Forum:Card Rulings For Zanji The Six Samurai

Can the card "The Six Samurai - Zanji", negate the effect of the Card "Pixie Knight". Lets pretend my opponent attacks

my Pixie Knight on the field in face up defense position, while Grand Master of the Six Samurai is Present on his

field. The Question is can his effect negate the effect of Pixie Knight. If so, does he also negate cards like

Sangan, Witch of the Black Forest, Mystic Tomatoe, UFO Turtle, and other cards like that, and their effects Like,

"When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle".

I'll List their Effects below here,

Pixie Knight - When this card is sent to the Graveyard as a result of battle, your opponent selects 1 Spell Card from your Graveyard, and places that card on the top of your Deck.

The Six Samurai - Zanji - While you control another "Six Samurai" monster with a different name, destroy any monster this card attacks at the end of the Damage Step. If this card would be destroyed, you can destroy another "Six Samurai" monster you control instead.

I want in detail your answer and most important proof for YOUR answer!

I ask this because this happen in real life , like I mentioned above and my opponent argue that his Monster effect

Negates My Pixie Knight's effect, I check the Card rulings For this Card , but were no examples for this situation.

Zanji doesn't 'negate' effects...

Zanji's effect does not activate if it already destroyed the monster by battle... so Mystic Tomato and Pixie Knight will activate. -Falzar FZ- (talk page|useful stuff) 09:47, August 13, 2011 (UTC)
