Forum:Cards searchable with Sangan

Currently cards that can be searched with "Sangan" note this in their card tips section, and cards that can be searched with "Witch of the Black Forest" note this there too, but under "Traditional Format". This means that the Sangan note would need to be moved there too. Since there is a huge list of cards searchable with Sangan, and it is usually expressed in a very formulaic way, I think it would be best to use a bot or semi-automated external editor like AWB to do this. I can already think of some ways in which it would be possible in AWB (but they prove more difficult to actually do if I tried). I have a lot of wiki experience, but not so much Wikia experience (and particularly not here, although I do use this Wikia a lot), so I figured it was best to ask first in case there is already a bot set up to do this or if there are going to be issues with a semi-automated process like AWB.

I've noticed that there are already users doing this manually though, but I dislike inefficiency and think it would be better to get this at least semi-automated if possible. --SnorlaxMonster 18:36, March 1, 2013 (UTC)

I planned on doing this, but there's also a plan for changing the list so that it is automatically generated, but that won't happen for a while so I'll update these first in a little while.
