Cold Wave had been a very old card by now but still we are confused for the effect., simply stated 'This card can only be activated at the start of your Main Phase 1. Until your next turn, you and your opponent cannot play or Set any Spell or Trap Cards' but my question is, will I still be able to chain with its effect like I will activate a Quick Play card or Trap Card to Chain with its effect? - Yes, because when you Chain to a card's activation, that card's effect has not been applied yet, so activating and/or setting Spells and Traps is not prohibited, so long as it is within the context of that Chain (e.g. Chain Dust Tornado, targeting Cold Wave, and setting 1 card face-down, of Chaining Phoenix Wing Wind Blast to spin an opponent's card back). --Darth Covah 05:59, 1 December 2008 (UTC)
