"After "Chimeratech Overdragon" attacks a monster(s) with its effect, it cannot attack your opponent's Life Points directly." Can someone explain to me why?Aznskills90214 21:56, April 23, 2010 (UTC)
read the cards text. It says, that you can attack as many monsters as machines are used to fusion summon it. Not as many times. Either you direct attack 1 time or you can attack # of times opponents monsters as monsters where used as fusion material. -dest- 22:40, April 23, 2010 (UTC)
Ahh alright
but then what about the other ruling? I'm just going to paraphrase but it basically said "If Chimeratech Overdragon attacks your opponent directly and then they special summon a monster, you may not attack it" Why is that?Aznskills90214 00:24, April 24, 2010 (UTC)
I think you mean this:
If "Chimeratech Overdragon" attacks directly, and then the opponent Special Summons a monster during the same Battle Phase it cannot attack it.
look at it. It says "in the same battle phase". As I said above, if you already attacked directly you can't attack again with it, even if there are monsters on the opponents field. -dest- 00:38, April 24, 2010 (UTC)
