okay so lets say:

1. Player A has royal decree face up on the field. Player B's Macro cosmos is now ineffective on the field. Player B summons splendid Venus.

Does player B get Macros effect once more?

there is the ruling that if Venus and Macro were on the field Jinzo could not negate them however no more trap cards could be activated. So because Royal decree only negates the effects of the macro and then Venus says that royal cannot negate the effect of macro cosmo does that mean that player B get's macro's effects back and can also activate trap cards?

2. does Soul absorbtion stack?

3. also anyone have a link to how we decide if cards stack or not i don't get the differences

1) Splendid Venus cannot be Summoned because it will create an infinite loop.

2) Yes, they stack!

3) It depends on the card! Usually, effects that start a chain stack!

1) yes, you get Macros effect.

and yes, Royal Decree does nothing to you with Venus, you can activate trap cards and get their effects. Jinzo is different because he simply prevents traps from activation.

2) Yes, you get 500 lp for every soul absobtion if a card is removed.

3) Uhm... I don't know how to properly explain this best, so I hope this example is enough:

The thing for soul absorbtion is already answered. It stacks. It does because the effect states, that you gain 500 lp for every rfp card. With multiples, each card says "I'll grant 500 lp" so all in all they add.

Then there is ... eg the effect of Bad Reaction to Simochi. The effect states, that it turns positive life into negative life. If there are multiples on the field it doesn't stack. All the effect does is putting a - bevore the amount of life gained. And a - will be a - and wont become more negetive.

I think that ATEMVEGETA was a bit confused. There would be no infinite loop. Player A has a face-up Royal Decree. Player B has Splendid Venus and Macro Cosmos. Player A's Macro Cosmos will not be negated.-- HHTurtle  (Talk) 15:27, June 26, 2010 (UTC)
