  • Stardust Dragon vs Ancient Forest can the controller of both cards on the field, attack with all monsters on their field including Stardust, and then use stardust's negation effect thus destroying their own Ancient Forest but saving their monsters, or since Ancient Forest was already on the field thus already activated they can't tribute Stardust to save their monsters?
  • A person attacks Elemental Hero Terra Firma with Goyo Guardian takes control of it, can they then use Terra Firma's effect to tribute their opponent's E Hero to gain the attack, or does the E Hero have to be on their own side of the field?

1) yes, you can negate forests effect with stardust. The destruction effect starts a chain, so he can activate his effect in response to it. See http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Card_Rulings:Ancient_Forest

2) You can only tribute monsters on your side of the field unless stated otherwise (Lava Golem ect)

3) yes

I thought that costs are not targeted? Can a cost be a target? --LordGeovanni 01:42, March 29, 2010 (UTC)
3) "Reinforced Human Psychic Borg" doesn't target. The cards are removed from play as a cost. That should answer your last comment?
2) "Elemental Hero Terra Firma" is a Nomi monster, so "Goyo Guardian" can't Summon it. However, what -dest- said stil holds if you use something like "Change of Heart" on it.

oooooops, confused that with something else, of course it doesn't target >.< -dest- 03:12, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

  • Then why can you use Fragrance Storm and destroy your opponent's monsters, after turning them into plants?
  • Never mind I see the difference, Fragance Storm says on the field, that is the difference. Thank you

Duelist33(My Talk) 11:49, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

no, it is not the difference, that it says "on the field". The difference is, that it says, that it "destroys" a card. Destroy and tribute are 2 different things ;) -dest- 12:38, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

  • Would the Stardust vs Ancient Forest question then destroy their own Ancient Forest, because Stardust says it negates and destroys the card.
