So I have a Number 96: Dark Mist and Atlantean Marksman, and I attack an opponents Il Blud while he has Pyramid of Wonders out. Is the attack boost from Pyramid applied first, meaning Il Blud has 2500 atk, and it gets halved to 1250 and dark mist is 1350? Or does dark mist make Il Blud halved to 1050 and then pyramid is still continuous and makes him 1550? Eskimoprime3 (talk • contribs) 04:12, January 21, 2013 (UTC)
- The Continuous Effect of Pyramid of Wonders is applied first, then Dark Mist will halve the 2500 ATK that Il Blud has, or at least that's the best I can offer to my understanding. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:21, January 21, 2013 (UTC)
- (Edit conflict) I'm basing this on the rulings of "Blackwing - Gale the Whirlwind" (found here):
"If a monster with 1000 ATK gains 1000 ATK from “Axe of Despair” and is then targeted by “Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind”, its ATK is now 1000, and remains 1000 if “Axe of Despair” is destroyed."
So, the ATK of "Il Blud" will be halved to 1250 (and will not gain a further 200 ATK), and stay like that permanently, even if "Pyramid of Wonders" leaves the field. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 04:24, January 21, 2013 (UTC)
- Yeah, that seems about right, just for the record, I based my thoughts from Forum:Gaia Plate v. Honest, since it's a similar situation involving a Continuous Effect and a Quick Effect in the Battle Phase. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 04:34, January 21, 2013 (UTC)
