Forum:Dark Simorgh Deck

Ok.. This is one of my faborite Decks. This deck is designed so that basically, the opponent can only summon monsters in attack position, unable to defend them. I try to do and this is what it achieves. :)

My build was:

• To get started, the Hunter Owl, you get a good lead, with 2 or more of them in the field, you can easily defend yourself for several turns and should be destroyed, is when you use Swallow's Nest quick play spell, you can Tribute a Winged-Beast to bring another of the same level as the taxed.

Here we have many options: Battlestorm Luster Dragon, and others ..

• This Deck has a number of "Combos" Battlestorm combo Hunter Owl combo and best of all, Dark Simorgh along with Anti-Spell Fragance. Dark Simorgh keeps the place cards face-down opponent. And Anti-Spell Fragance you prevent the opponent put face-down spells on the field, which prevents the opponent from doing almost anything. The only option would be to put monsters in attack position.

I originally built a wind deck and it sucked so I decided to morph it into this, and I gotta say I really like this deck. It beats every one of my friends decks with ease except for one of my friends Frogs-Monarchs deck. I built mine a little differently than the one above though, check it out.

Dark Simorgh cost a ridiculous $30 so I could only afford one. Basically, I use Different Dimension Capsule to get Dark Simorgh to my hand, and from there it's easy to Special Summon it. Then, Anti-Spell Fragrance pretty much completely locks my opponent down.
