If my monster card is in face-down attack and is also effected by my opponent spell binding circle can I flip summon my face-down attack monster card into face-up attack position, or is a flip summon considered a battle position change even if it does not swith battle position?

From Card Rulings:Spellbinding Circle:
- This card may select a face-down monster as a target. This prevents the monster from being Flip Summoned, but it will still be flipped face-up if it is the target of an attack.
So face-down monster affected by this card (even that monster is in Attack Position) cannot be Flip Summoned. Blackwings0605 (talk) 15:21, September 13, 2010 (UTC)
- I'd say that the ruling deals with the 99.9% of cases where the monster is in face-down DEF Mode. You can't Flip Summon it, since (in those cases) Flip Summoning requires you to change the monster's Battle Position. If the monster is in face-down ATK Mode, then Flip Summoning it doesn't change its Battle Position, so you can Flip Summon it. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 06:21, September 17, 2010 (UTC)
- In WC10 you cannot Flip Summon the monster. I didn't found something in the rulings. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 09:48, September 17, 2010 (UTC)

Darkness Approaches. It only flips monsters face-down, it does not affect their battle position.-- HHTurtle Talk 18:00, September 17, 2010 (UTC)
