Darksoul says "If this card you control is sent to the Graveyard"

Fine..., field is XX-Saber Gottoms, XX-Saber Darksoul, XX-Saber Faultroll,

Grave is XX-Saber Ragigura.

Gottoms tributes Darksoul, Faultroll revives Ragigura, Ragigura adds Darksoul to hand.

"XX-Saber Darksoul" should work like "Evil Hero Infernal Prodigy" or "Genex Neutron". "XX-Saber Darksoul" needs to remain in the Graveyard for its effect to work. In your example, "XX-Saber Darksoul"'s effect won't activate. --Deus Ex Machina (Talk) 14:40, May 4, 2010 (UTC)

It has been ruled that you still apply the effect of XX-Saber Darksoul even if he is not in the Graveyard at that time. It applies its effect as many times as he was sent to the Graveyard this turn. ATEMVEGETA (Talk) 21:27, December 14, 2010 (UTC)

WORMWARLORD VS XX SABER DARKSOUL

Hi I want to know in the case that Worm Warlord destroy a dark soul in battle, the effect of dark soul that add a card to my opponents hand in the end phase still working or is negated, I think darksoul is negated because the rulling :The effect activates and resolves when the card you control is sent to the Graveyard. But im not sure at all Thank you and Sorry for my bad english :P

As per Armed Sea Hunter, the effect will remain negated as long as the monster remains in the graveyard. (IE: yes, XX-Saber Darksoul will not get its effect, and Treeborn Frog will be unable to revive.)
