Forum:Dino deck rate/help

I know it may seem a bit ishy, so that's why I'm asking for help. I did had * Earth Effigy x2, but then I relized that it is only good for normal monsters, and all my big guys have effects. I have three of the Dinosaur's Rage structure deck, so if I need to swop some cards with different ones or add some others, please let me know. Also, I didn't put * Tyranno Infinity in the deck because, even tho it is a good card, it seems like it might clutter my deck a bit, but I do have * Survival Instinct x3 and * Soul Release x2, should I swop those in there?--RedEyesBlkMDragon 07:47, October 15, 2009 (UTC)

• Your deck is a little outdated, since some recent support for Dinosaurs came out. Destroyersaurus is a dinosaur that searches out Jurassic World, Black Veloci is a LV 4 beatstick while Jurassic World is out and Fossil Dig searches out any LV 6 or lower dinosaur, giving immense searching power to the deck. Most of this dino cards will really help out with the speed of your deck, if not double it. To answer your question, I wouldn't put in Survival Instinct and Soul Release in the deck unless you're putting Tyranno Infinity into the deck, and I wouldn't put in Tyranno Infinity if at least half your deck doesn't support RFG elements. • There's no other recommendations for Dino decks that I know of... For alternatives, you might want to consider Saurobeast Brachion and/or Super-Ancient Dinobeast. You only need to tribute one dinosaur for these LV 8 guys, which is always a plus (Gilazaurus combo, anyone?). As for what you should remove, Dino decks have always played a beatdown theme with little room for defense, so in my opinion, you should take out the Miracle Jurassic Egg, Babycerasaurus and a Kabazauls (since Veloci pretty much outshadows the hippo's attack). Don't be so sure about taking out Miracle Jurassic. I've played with a Jurak deck before and I've found an amazing combo with Miracle Jurassic Egg; summon it and activate One for One, discarding a Jurak to special summon Jurak Auro from your deck. Tribute Auro to special summon the dino you discarded, and now Jurassic has 4 counters; it becomes an easy searcher. Now, you probably aren't using OCG cards, but the deck can probably pull off similar combos; discarding Destroyersaurus to search Jurassic World, discarding something for Lightning Vortex, using Fossil Excavation... the list goes on.

Meanwhile, if you're using Jurassic World, I'd use Volcanic Eruption and Babycerasaurus. If you find yourself in a tight spot and your opponent is over-commiting... bang! Nail them with the Baby/Eruption combo and you'll still have a beatstick on the field when they start. Runer5h 21:38, October 17, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

• When the card isn't being specific about what kind of card effect, it's assumed that all possible card effects that fit, whether monster effect, spell or trap, can work. In Babycerasaurus's case, any monster effect, spell or trap that destroys it will activate its effect. Hmm, totally forgot about Volcanic Eruption/Babycersaurus combo... does tie in pretty well with your deck, so it's up to you to add it. Swaggs 07:25, October 19, 2009 (UTC)

=Is see but is it worth it? Baby only summons a level 4 or lower monsters....I could see a combo to bring out Tyranno infinity... or a combo for destroyersaurus and bring out jurrasic world again. So which combo should I go for? Use the baby/eruption combo with tyrano infinity, that means I would have to switch some cards out for survival instinct and maybe one soul realese. or should I have the baby/eruption combo for destroyersaurus?
