- In this case, "Divine Grace - Northwemko" is destroyed. Build the Chain:
- Chain Link 1: "Divine Grace - Northwemko", selecting the cards.
- Chain Link 2: "Bottomless Trap Hole"
- (resolve)
- Chain Link 2: "Bottomless Trap Hole" destroys "Divine Grace - Northwemko". The effect of "Divine Grace - Northwemko" hasn't resolved yet, so "Divine Grace - Northwemko" is not "protected" yet.
- Chain Link 1: (resolves without effect)
