If i have a scrap beast in the field, then got destroyed by the effect of the scrap card and sent to the graveyard, can i still activate scrap beast's fetching effect and still special summon a Baboon, defender of the forest from my hand or graveyard? 64.255.180.227 (talk) 06:17, November 11, 2010 (UTC) -->
Depends on whether Scrap Beast being destroyed and sent to the Graveyard being the last thing to happen. If yes, then both the effects of Scrap Beast and Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest will activate and form a Chain according to SEGOC. If no, then the effect of Scrap Beast will still activate but you cannot activate the effect of Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest.
This is because the effect of Scrap Beast is a "If..., you can..." Optional Trigger Effect. It can never Miss the Timing. However, the effect of Green Baboon, Defender of the Forest is a "When..., you can..." Optional Trigger Effect.-- HHTurtle Talk 07:12, November 11, 2010 (UTC)
