Hello. I have 2 questions:
1- Does Number 96: Dark Mist Target himself and the opponent's monster or not? Why?
2- I know that Drillroid and Ally of Justice Catastor DO NOT TARGET the opponent's monster. However, Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon's effect during battle TARGETS Himself and the opponent's monster. Those 2 cases are similar, why doesn't the first target but the second targets? How can i differentiate between these cases? Thank you Imadmagician (talk • contribs) 09:05, June 18, 2012 (UTC)
1. The effect of Number 96: Dark Mist doesn't target.
2. The effect of Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon targets the monster that it's battling.
Usually if the effect Targets, the player chooses the cards that will be affected by an effect during the activation, not during the resolution of the effect.
As for Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon, its effect targets just because that word is specifically written in the card text. This is similar to how Sakuretsu Armor and Magic Cylinder work. HHT - (Talk to the Turtle) 10:24, June 18, 2012 (UTC)
