Forum:Element Ritual Deck

Well I decided to make a deck using ritual support from Stardust Overdrive, but I didn't want to make another DARK or LIGHT based deck, so I just went with all of the other attributes. I'm trying not to use too many DARK and LIGHT type monsters in this deck.

Elemental Mistress Doriado is the main point of this deck, because it can be used with Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan. The Familiar-Possessed are the highest attack spellcasters I could find, that were not DARK/LIGHT type, which I can use to beatdown in case I can't use the combo above. Fortune Lady Wind is just used because by itself it can destroy 1 Spell or Trap card. Since over half the deck is Spellcasters, I decided to run Magical Dimension. Summoner Monk can be used to get out Flamvell Magician or Tuned Magician and discard a Ritual so to let me use Preparation of Rites. Lastly, Djinn Releaser of Rituals is used to prevent my opponent from Special Summoning monsters such as DAD or Judgement, and I chose it over the Presider because it's effect better suits the ritual monster (Elemental Mistress Doriado has low attack, so the chances it will destroy anything in battle are very slim.) I am also trying to use cards that are already out in the TCG. Please comment on how I can improve this deck.

There are more Synchro Monsters that aren't Dark or Light, and it would seem that you don't have a lot of Attack Power. It doesn't seem like you have any cards that don't benefit by only having one type of monster. A Stardust, with some Rose, Warrior of Revenge a fire attribute and an automatic 8 Star Synchro with summoner monk, plus negation of destruction effects real easy to get out. and Rose has a 1600 attack, plus a 300 at bonus if cause battle dmg, in effect with all your clearing your opponents monster and spell, trap cards ability a 1900 attack. just a thought.

I like the idea... however, a few things. First, Manju and Bird only work when they are Normal or Flip summoned, so summoning them with Monk is not the best idea. Second, Ritual Buster is not particularly useful to you in this deck - it's slow and the lock won't be all that helpful. Finally, I'd do more with Doriado's effect if I were you. If you can manage it, try another Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan, and stick in some Element Dragons. The latter becomes a 2000 ATK double attacker with Doriado on the field. Why not add Brain Control or Mind Control? Grab a monster and use it for the Ritual Summon of your little girl. I also agree with adding in another Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan.--Akiza Izayoi 20:23, December 17, 2009 (UTC)

  • Whoops didn't see that on Manju or bird..o well, doesn't make a difference that much, I was considering making it a synchro, but I'm only going to use the WIND and FIRE Familiar-Possesseds while taking out the other two for Flamvell Magician and mabye Tuned Magician. Rose is a fire, but Flamvell magician can be used with Magical Dimension. So I'll keep Summoner Monk anyway. Since I'm only going to use Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan for Elemental Mistress Doriado anyway, I might as well only use WIND and FIRE. I was also wondering if I need more draw power for this deck....I'm also thinking of what to take out for Spiritual Wind Art - Miyabi and Spiritual Fire Art - Kurenai, since the deck is going to be mostly WIND and FIRE. Shrink probably could fit into this deck as well, since Doriado has low attack... Anyway, thanks for the suggestions. I edited the decklist, replacing the other familiars with spellcaster Tuners. I also took out Ritual Buster for a Brain Control and Fuh-Rin-Ka-Zan. ShadowFury57 23:07, December 17, 2009 (UTC)ShadowFury57
