I'm confused of the Extra Monster Zones. If the zones are occupied, can I special summon monsters from the extra deck to the Main monster zones even the requirements are fulfilled?? (e.g. xyz, synchro, fusion using monsters on the main monster zones while the extra monster zones are occupied)

Nope. It would defeat the purpose of introducing the Extra Zone, wouldn't it? The only way to Summon a monster from the Extra Deck while the Extra Zone is occupied is using the monster in it as one of the Materials, thus freeing it up. --XBrain130™エックスブレーン130」 09:54, May 28, 2017 (UTC)

so i was wondering as the legendary dragons specify the material, i.e. mirrorforce dragon need one mirror force. would i be able to use swamp king to sub when i use fang or would that not work? (Kaibodo6 (talkcontribs) 11:39, June 7, 2017 (UTC))

"The Claw of Hermos" and "The Fang of Critias" do not use Fusion Materials, so you cannot use Fusion Substitute Monsters such as "King of the Swamp". Additionally, the Hermos and Critias Fusion Monsters do not list any Fusion Materials, so there is nothing to substitute for anyway.
The "Timaeus" Fusion Monsters are different in that they don't need to be Special Summoned using "The Eye of Timaeus", but you cannot use "King of the Swamp" for them either. You can't using a card other than "The Eye of Timaeus", because they specify "Must be Fusion Summoned with the above Fusion Materials or with "The Eye of Timaeus", and cannot be Special Summoned by other ways" in their card text. However, you also can't with "The Eye of Timaeus", because it can only target a "Dark Magician" monster, and even then it can only Fusion Summon a monster that specifically lists that monster as a Fusion Material, meaning it can only target "Dark Magician" or "Dark Magician Girl". --SnorlaxMonster 15:36, June 7, 2017 (UTC)
