Forum:F0 or 54?

I plan on buying a new number (TCG). I currently can't decide if Number 54 or Number F0 would be stronger. Both are very powerful thanks to their effects. However, I wouldn't know which to get. I might also need some tips to make them 'possibly' O.P. Can anyone help me make a decision? Thanks if you can. --I may not be perfect, but thats who I am. Let me ask you a few questions first: Do you actually intend on using this new number? If so, how do you plan on using it?

Overall I believe F0 is somewhat better because you can keep using its effect to avoid/deal damage. With Lion Heart you're probably guaranteed to take damage except for the 3 instances it can use its Xyz Material, also you can't get rid of monsters. Meanwhile, with F0 you will never take battle damage, and you get to take the other monster and use it to either deal some heavy damage or get rid of something bothersome. And it doesn't need its Xyz Materials for anything particularly substantial either; having Xyz Materials just means card effects won't get rid of it as easily. If you don't have them it barely affects its playstyle at all. However, the condition of 2 NON-NUMBER Xyz Monsters of the same rank isn't exactly easy to fulfill, and I must point out that F0 doesn't gain their Xyz Materials. Granted, 3 level 1 monsters isn't easy either, though that might be a different story depending on the deck you're using.

I am not exactly sure on what kind of deck I would put 54, but I know that Kurivolt will be there. As for F0, I don't have any ideas, except for maybe a deck that is able to xyz summon fast. As for situation, I would be using Number Wall and Imperial Custom to cover the destruction part. Then again, I might just get F0 as, like you mentioned, cancels damage were as 54 would deal damage you take. I thought F0 was still an OCG exclusive? Personally, I think that F0 is an interesting card. However, the effort required to summon it is IMO a big problem because you have to give up 2 Xyz monsters that also needed 2 (or more) monsters to be summoned. Number 54 is at least relatively easy to summon (Unknown Synchron + Machine Duplication) and still a very powerful card. --.·:BronzeJohnson:·. (talk • contribs) 08:47, October 5, 2014 (UTC)
