When a monster is attacked while in face-down defense mode, and the attacking monster has attack lower than the monsters defense, when the monster is fliped face-up can cards be activated to make the attacking monster overpower the defending monster? —This unsigned comment was made by 74.92.38.129 (talk • contribs) 16:33, January 20, 2012
- In future reference, please be sure to remember this part; sign your edits with four tildes at end of your comment in Talk Page or Discussion.
- So to make it clearly; you're saying that you have weakly ATK Monster that attacking the mighty DEF Monster; when the face-down Monster is flipping to face-up, you wish to play any cards that can increase the ATK points after that? Then yes, as long as they are only Quick-Play Spell Card or at least Normal Trap Cards that boost the ATK/DEF points. It's total legal way. --FredCat 16:35, January 20, 2012 (UTC)
Yes - if it's a Spell Speed two effect you can use it during the Damage Step to boost/reduce either monster's ATK and DEF. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 19:03, January 20, 2012 (UTC)
I would also like to point out that all Counter Traps (the only Spell Speed 3 cards) will work during the damage step. Sabre Knight (talk • contribs) 23:01, January 20, 2012 (UTC)
